When we remodeled our home last winter, we decided to put in a nice wooden floor in our living room as a way to make the house look classier, but I felt that the best way to make the room look good was with shag area rugs. I did not arrive at the conclusion arbitrarily, rather it was actually due to my having experienced such a combination while visiting a very nice bed and breakfast with my wife about a year or so before we put the new floor in.
And once we did have that floor in place, I decided to look into finding a nice rug, although I did not know where I could find such a thing. My instincts were to find something in a store, but I wasn't sure if I needed to go to a furniture store or to some sort of rug outlet, so I spent an evening driving around town looking at stores. After hours of searching, I had looked at hundreds of rugs, but had not found anything like the shag area rugs I was hoping for, so I returned home feeling discouraged.
Later that day, I was grousing to my wife about it and she had the brilliant idea to look online and see if I could find what I was hoping for there. I leapt to my feet and rushed to my computer in a wild fit of excitement, thanking my spouse for the great advice.
I eagerly started searching and straight away I found a great website that had thousand of different rugs, varying from outdoor rugs for patios to the wonderful shag rugs what I was hoping for. Right off, I thought the rugs looked incredible and they seemed like they were really high quality and they all looked like they would really hold up well and not come unraveled. The best part was that their prices were quite competitive and much lower than the prices I had seen at any of the stores I visited.
I eventually decided on a rug that had the right colors that I thought would look perfect in our family room. It only took a few days for the rug to arrive and I was so delighted that I had my neighbor come over and help me move some furniture around so that I could put the rug down. When we had everything placed just right, I had my wife come in and give her approval and we were both overjoyed with the way the rug made the room look.
